Technologies We Use
HIFU Body is the latest technology delivering a 24 line matrix of focussed energy at a depth of 1.3cm+7mm. The controlled thermal effect results in the destruction of targeted fat as well as contraction of collagen in the treatment area. Benefits are faster treatment time and a more targeted focus.
The HIFU hand piece delivers focussed ultrasound waves to a precise depth to cause necrosis of the fat cell. The controlled movement of the handpiece results in a grid of treated fat cells. The high frequency of the ultrasound wave results in rapid heating of the focal zone at 1.3cm and 7mm under the skin, leaving the skins surface unaffected. However this energy increases in temperature as it gets deeper within the skin due to the energy of the HIFU causing cellular friction. Exposing the fat cell to this high temperature causes rapid cell death (necrosis).

Clients will see an initial effect right after their treatment, generally a refreshed glowing look, but the real results appear over the following 2 to 3 months as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin and brow.
Results can be seen up to 9 months following the treatment and depend on the variety of different factors including age, health, lifestyle and diet, and how much pre-existing collagen there is to build on when having a procedure for the first time. While a HIFU treatment won’t duplicate the results of a facelift, it is a clinically proven non-invasive alternative for those not ready for surgery, and may even be an option for clients who wish to extend the effects of previous cosmetic surgery they have already had.
